Pharmaceutical Workflow Dashboard
The Problem
The current system is built on SAP it provides the necessary functionality, but the interface is generic, and not aligned with the company’s brand. It doesn’t fully support how scientists move through their workflows, creating inefficiencies and cognitive load.
The Role
I worked alongside another designer on this project. My focus was on visual design and branding and Redesigning the core risk-visualization feature. I collaborated closely with another designer to ensure the design system and interactive prototypes could be implemented effectively.
Visual Design & Design System
I led the visual design and branding of the platform, creating a full set of customized icons, defining typography, and applying the company’s color palette to ensure a cohesive, on-brand experience.
Customized Icon Design

Design System
To communicate and validate the design, I built a design system in Figma with reusable components that were used to construct an interactive prototype. This prototype demonstrated key flows and interactions, serving as a reference for developers and providing a foundation for the ongoing implementation of the platform’s design system.

Risk Assessment Feature
The core feature I worked on addresses a key need for the client: scientists and project managers needed to assess and compare risks across multiple projects, but existing tools made it difficult to see the big picture or act quickly. To solve this, I designed an interactive node network and risk map visualization, where each node represents a potential risk. Node size indicates risk magnitude, and color indicates severity, allowing users to quickly understand the distribution and impact of risks across their projects
Reflection
Although the project is ongoing, early feedback shows that the redesigned workflows improve clarity and support faster risk assessment. Stakeholders noted that the risk assessment aligns closely with how they typically evaluate risks
